Vale David Grant

This is inadequate, and will be replaced when more elegant words are available. David Grant died today from a brain tumor.

In 1987, David Grant established David Grant Special Events after a career on the production side of theatre and television, then in advertising and journalism. DGSE helped pioneer the events industry and has remained at the trailblazing forefront of events ever since.

That’s the intro par for his website, and it defins (one of but probaly) the most astute, switched on, charismatic and intelligent guy in the events community. He was a genius, a leader and a shmoozer.

So here we are, are the best way to remember David just now is probably through Mark Taylor’s feature in CX Magazine a few years ago, titled ‘Go Hard, or Go Trying’.
