LED Field Technician for Sports & Live Events

Want to work on some of Australia’s biggest sporting events? SureVision is hiring LED Field Technicians in casual position from October 2024 to work at some of Australia’s best sporting stadiums for the season of cricket. 

As part of the SureVision’s Sports delivery team you’re joining an energetic and passionate team delivering digital signage at sports events including International Test Australia vs India, ODI and T201, and BBL.

In this role you will support all aspects of LED screen installations, pack downs, logistics, and maintenance at sporting events, particularly the summer of cricket. 

This role could be ideal for tertiary students who are looking for regular evening and weekend work, and longer hours throughout December and January, which is our peak work period. Ideally, at this time you can work across any days of the 7-day week, accommodate various shift start and finish times, and can travel to various stadiums across a 14-day roster. 

Training will be provided before the cricket season commences so you must be available some weekends and throughout the week to work at installations. 

The role:

• Take delivery of assets on site at stadiums and install and cable LED screens ready for game-day events
• Monitor the performance of LED screens during operation of events including fixing issues and faults
• Safely and efficiently pack down temporary installations, ensuring that all assets are accounted for
• May need to travel for work at peak sports periods
• Mostly outdoor work, with a physical element to the role which involves some manual handling of LED panels.

To be successful in the role you will ideally have:

• Ideally, study or working in areas of LED screen, digital signage, A/V and/or electrician.
• Working in events or production
• Strong verbal communication skills
• Good work ethic
• Reliable and punctual
• Be able to work well in a team environment, follow instructions.
• Ability to work in different locations within the metropolitan area. 
• Own vehicle (reimbursement subject to company policy)

Qualifications:

• Australian Driver’s License
• Study or Certificate Electrotechnology Electrician 
• Study or Certificate in Computer Assembly and Repair and Electronics
• Study or Certificate in Live Production and Technical Services
