Our Sydney Team is growing and is looking for an experienced technical expert to manage our high-profile projects. 

This role is an excellent full-time opportunity for an energetic, enthusiastic, and experienced Technical Director to join our Sydney based event productions team, where there is opportunity for long term personal growth in many disciplines of technical production in the event industry. 

Key areas of responsibility will include:

• Lead the end-to-end AV production process, from initial client briefings to post-event evaluations.
• Design and implement complex AV solutions, including audio, video, lighting, and rigging systems, based on event needs and technical specifications.
• Manage and supervise AV technicians and freelance staff during events, ensuring the highest standards of quality and professionalism
• Conduct site inspections and technical rehearsals to ensure systems function flawlessly on event day  
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues in real-time during events to maintain production quality.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest AV technology trends and integrate new tools and processes to improve efficiency and performance.
• Collaborate closely with clients, event managers and production teams to ensure AV solutions meet or exceed expectations.
• Managing and growing client relationships and understanding the importance of these relationships.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards and technical regulations in all AV operations.

  • Ability to provide clear direction and lead production teams.
  • High-energy, confident go-getter with the ability to manage a large portfolio of clients.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Ability to multi-task and work under pressure.
  • Knowledge of CAD / Vectorworks programs 
  • Drivers licence and own vehicle.
