It’s a jungle out there! With a bonkers workload in front of us, we have the immediate need to once again grow our existing team of Techs.
We have opportunities open NOW for AV techs across vision, lighting & audio. Positions available span both full time and casuals seeking additional days in their calendar.
You’ll be joining a tight team with a mighty focus on meeting and exceeding client expectation in the live events industry, knowing that you’ll be equipped with current high-end commercial equipment only, all launched from our modern premises centrally located in Woolloongabba Brisbane.
Tools at your disposal come from the big dogs such as VuePix LED, Brompton processing, L acoustics and Yamaha DM / QL audio, Panasonic commercial, Barco, Roland etc etc.
Our doors are open to a range of skill sets, so don’t be alarmed if you’re not a senior, experienced tech. We have excellent ongoing in-house training and will school you across all disciplines.
Most importantly, you will need an excellent attitude, plus the ability to think laterally and work closely with your teammates. We can teach you the rest.
Select Audio Visual BNE maintains a very strong policy on work / life balance, as our industry can demand a lot, that’s not lost on us at all. We enjoy an enviable working culture amongst our team, promoting regular out of work social activity to help blow off steam and help to get to know your workmates away from the day to day flow of event life.
We proactively endorse a ‘people first’ culture amongst our crew, both full time and sub-contractors. Everyone has a voice and we expect everyone to contribute. It’s just how we roll. Your input and enthusiasm will be both encouraged and rewarded at all times. You are our front-line representation, you will need to own that responsibility and thrive at the challenge.
With our core products and services firmly entrenched in live audio, vision, lighting, streaming for corporate event production, you will need to display flexibility, show craft, passion and the professionalism that is mandatory when working in the live events industry.
Impeccable presentation and communication skills are a must, as your days will be spent partnering with technical directors, PCO’s, hospitality professionals, Hotel GM’s, and of course, your teammates in all things technical. It helps to keep it real, belief in your ability and the processes in place to support you in your role. Your workmates will have your back.
If you tick the boxes above, then be sure to tick the box below and get in touch. You’ll be warmly welcomed into a team committed to excellence, personal development and ultimately delivering special event outcomes for our event partners.
For a strictly confidential sit down with the GM, be sure to email connect@selectaudiovisual.com.au, or simply apply via SEEK. You’ll find a committed team ready to welcome you aboard, get to work and have a ton of fun along the way.
