WHAT WILL YOU BE RESPONSIBLE FOR?
- Assisting to ensure the on-ground event operations are in line with venue SOPs.
- Assisting to ensure patron safety, resolve potential hazards, and complete incident reports as required.
- Liaising with security, cleaners, first aid and contracted event staff within the area to resolve potential issues.
- Providing post-event reports as required.
- Monitoring event capacity and patron behaviour as required.
- Monitoring the event site for any risks and escalate as required.
- Assisting to oversee on-ground event logistics and contribute to the delivery of high quality, well-managed and safe client events.
- Anticipating and respond to issues proactively to facilitate efficient and safe event delivery.
- Reporting any Workplace Health and Safety incidents or near misses.
DOES THIS SOUND LIKE YOU?
- Current Fork Lift Licence (preferred).
- Current open drivers licence – required for buggy induction.
- A minimum of 1 year relevant on-ground events experience.
- Compliance driven and resourceful with a demonstrated passion for events.
- Knowledge of health and safety regulations, event logistics and risk assessment processes.
- Excellent organisational and communication skills.
- Demonstrated ability and willingness to work and learn as a team member in a fast paced and frequently changing environment.
- Demonstrated experience in event co-ordination, venue, or stage management.
- High-level customer service attitude and professional presentation.
- Hardworking and attentive, with the capacity to anticipate issues and respond accordingly.
- Able to communicate effectively with event stakeholders at all levels.
- A high level of attention to detail and desire to deliver quality events.
- A quick and eager learner who is self-motivated.
