Audio Visual & Communications Support Technician
Full time, fixed term appointment until December 2025
Professional Level 5/6 Salary – $73,502 to $92,329 pa

Provide technical advice and support for a variety of audio-visual equipment and services at Charles Darwin University (CDU)
About the Position
As the Audio Visual & Communications Support Technician, you will provide technical advice and Tier 1 and 2 support for a variety of audio-visual equipment and services to staff and students of the University. You will assist in the design and implementation of sophisticated AV and communication systems, including immersive sound systems, advanced video conferencing solutions, interactive digital signage, and integrated broadcast systems.
About You
To be successful, you will require:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in AV and communications system engineering.
- Experience with AV system design software, networking, and audio-video technologies.
- Proven track record in managing complex AV projects.
- Exceptional problem-solving, analytical, and critical thinking skills.

Remuneration
Appointment to this role will be at Professional Level 5/6. The base salary will be in the range of $73,502 to $92,329 per annum. The total remuneration package will be in the range of $85,997 to $108,024 per annum, including 17% superannuation.
