AV Technician/Installer

About the role

Diversified is seeking an experienced AV Technician to join our dynamic team in Balcatta, Perth. As an AV Technician, you will be responsible for the installation of audio-visual equipment and systems within various settings, such as: corporate offices, educational institutions, hospitals, and retail spaces. This is a full-time on site position.

What you’ll be doing

• Install professional AV equipment

• Set out installation works according to specification and instruction 

• Set out, cut and install of cables such as conduit, cable tray, ducting and wire systems

• Rack wiring, termination and labelling

• Read and interpret schematic diagrams, panel drawings and rack layouts

• Record and maintain relevant documentation pertaining to commissioning

• Line test and commission cabling systems, including field and inter-rack cabling

• Maintain a high level of customer satisfaction

• Travel to regional and remote client sites when required

• Observe WH&S standards ensuring all work is completed in a safe manner
   

What we’re looking for

• Minimum 2 years of experience as a AV Installer or in a similar industry

• Trade qualification in electronics, communications or audio visual or demonstrated industry equivalent is desirable

• Holds current Construction Induction Card or willing to obtain

• Currently EWP licence and Cabler Registration and endorsements is desirable

• Current valid Driver’s License and Personal Vehicle

• Australian Citizenship to be able to access Secure Agency sites.
