Audiovisual Technicians

Technical Events has a great opportunity for an Audio Visual Technician to join our expanding team. We are an AV production company based in Kensington, providing outstanding technical production services for a wide range of clients and events.

Your background as a technician will include experience predominantly in digital audio consoles and high-end vision switching. Knowledge of basic or intelligent lighting is also advantageous.

As an AV Technician, you will be responsible for undertaking the following duties;

• Event setups & pack-downs
• Operation of audio-visual equipment including audio, lighting  & vision control systems
• The technical operation of performances and events.

We are looking for a professional and motivated individual who has the capabilities to lead a team and works well under pressure. You will have the opportunity to work on a diverse range of events with some of the leading technical equipment in the industry. (d&b audiotechnik, Yamaha, nexo)

 Applicants should have the following;

• Experience in the audio-visual events industry
• Up to date knowledge and experience in digital audio consoles.
• Up to date knowledge and experience with vision switchers and IT systems
• Up to date knowledge and experience with basic and intelligent lighting and programming is highly regarded
• Highly presentable in corporate environments
• Punctual and able to prioritise
• Flexible attitude towards work hours
• A flexible and pro-active approach to your work
• A desire to develop and learn new skills
• Able to work in a team as well as autonomously
• Impeccable customer service skills
• Current Drivers licence required
• EWP is preferable
