About the role
As an onsite technician technician you will encumber the title of a Senior Resident Service Technician at Diversified, you will play a crucial role in supporting the audio-visual and video conferencing systems based on our client’s site. Based in our Perth, this full-time position offers the opportunity to work in a dynamic, technology-driven environment where your technical expertise will be highly valued.
What you’ll be doing
- Providing on-site maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair services for a range of audio-visual and video conferencing equipment
- Configuring, installing, and testing new AV/VC systems to ensure optimal performance
- Monitoring system health and proactively addressing any issues or concerns
- Collaborating with the broader technical team to implement upgrades and enhancements
- Maintaining detailed records and documentation of all technical work performed
- Assisting with project management and client communication as needed
What we’re looking for
- Relevant technical certification or diploma in audio-visual, information technology, or a related field
- Significant experience (3+ years) as an AV/VC technician, with a strong understanding of audio, video, and network technologies
- Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills, with the ability to diagnose and resolve complex technical issues
- Strong customer service orientation and the ability to communicate technical information to non-technical stakeholders
- Proficiency in the use of tools and software required for AV/VC system maintenance and configuration
- A flexible and adaptable approach to work, with the ability to prioritise and manage multiple tasks effectively
- Knowledgeable in IT
