Salary/Level: Level 5, $96,307 – $105,254 p.a. plus 11.5% Superannuation

Tenure: 12 months fixed-term, full-time (with the possibility of extension or permanency)

Location: Perth, Western Australia (or other regional locations by agreement)

We’re looking for a talented videographer/video journalist with a keen eye for the natural environment to film, edit and deliver stunning audio-visual content. 

As part of a team of communications professionals, this position generates compelling short videos showcasing the department’s State-wide operational and program delivery achievements on the department’s land and waters.

You’ll need a strong working knowledge of broadcast quality cameras and audio equipment and demonstrated video editing experience, as evidenced by a showreel of your work. You’ll also need to be a competent drone pilot with a current CASA certification.

You’ll also require a robust, can-do and flexible attitude and be willing to work across the State in sometimes remote locations with basic facilities. On occasion this includes working outside normal business hours to complete filming projects.

The successful applicant will be required to possess or obtain a current and satisfactory National Police Check prior to commencement.
