The Opportunity
Merge Technologies is a leading Australian owned and operated Workplace Technology and Audio Visual Systems Integrator. We connect Australian businesses and their people by designing, installing and supporting immersive collaboration and workplace technology systems to support the new way of work. We operate with a physical presence in Brisbane, Sydney and Melbourne, and a via a network of installation and support partners throughout Australia.
We continue to experience rapid growth and require the assistance of a Senior Audio Visual Technician. Based in Brisbane, this role will be joining our growing technical delivery team, deploying and supporting workplace technology solutions.
We are looking for someone with previous AV installation experience, ideally within the collaboration space working with Microsoft Teams and Zoom Rooms implementations. If the candidate has the ability to program and commission conferencing and control systems this is preferred.
This would be well suited for an individual with strong attention to details and who knows how to make things happen on the tools. We will provide training and development for the right candidate and help them grow in their career by providing further opportunities.
The duties require a reliable all-rounder and include:
• Site assessments and planning
• Pre staging / testing of AV & VC systems
• Physical installation of cabling and AV & VC systems
• Cable terminations and cable management; rack building
• Configuration and commissioning of AV & VC systems
• Support calls with diagnosis of system faults
• Hours 9.00 – 5.00 Monday to Friday; some after hours work may be required
