Exciting fixed-term opportunity for an Opera Stage Manager to become part of the Adelaide Festival team.
January – March 2025
Remuneration – in line with South Australia Public Sector Live Performance Award
The Opera Stage Manager will lead a team of local ASM’s / Props crew alongside the Touring Company Stage Management. They will look after the day to day Stage Management duties to ensure the smooth running of the rehearsal room and the performance venue. They will also be the conduit for information that flows out of rehearsals to the Opera Production Manager and be the first point of contact in the room for all local performers.
To be successful in this role, you will require:
- 3+ years experience working on full scale operas in a similar role
- Strong score reading ability
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office
- Strong leadership skills
- High attention to detail
