About the Role
Full Time | $75,000 – $100,000 per annum, plus superannuation – depending on skill and level of experience.Â
As our Warehouse Supervisor, reporting to the Operations Manager, you’ll be the backbone of our warehousing operations, ensuring everything runs smoothly and efficiently. If you have a knack for organisation and a passion for leading teams, this is the perfect role for you!
Main Tasks and Duties Include:
- Task Management and Team Coordination: Dive into all assigned tasks with enthusiasm, working both independently and as part of a team, while guiding and directing warehouse teams to ensure timely completion of activities.
- Project Preparation and Execution: Be a gun in the preparation of equipment and labour requirements for projects, ensuring accurate and efficient setups and resets at the start of each day.
- Workplace Safety and Cleanliness: We prioritise the safety of our team, clients, punters, and partners. The Warehouse Supervisor will keep our facility safe and clean by organising and optimising storage areas and workstations, adhering to safety protocols.
- Vehicle and Equipment Maintenance: Ensure company vehicles are cleaned, refuelled, and maintained according to company guidelines, and inspect and maintain warehouse equipment.
- Inventory and Consumables Management: Monitor inventory levels, perform regular stock counts, and coordinate stock replenishments with the Operations Manager.
- Company Standards and Communication: Uphold our values, culture, and presentation standards, ensuring adherence to all policies while applying strong communication and interpersonal skills in interactions with colleagues and clients.
- Flexibility: The show must go on and we understand that we operate 24/7, requiring commitment to working outside regular hours, including weekends and public holidays as needed, while adhering to a flexible roster.
Skills, Knowledge, and Experience
- Prior Experience: Previous experience in warehousing is essential, and familiarity with the live events industry is a plus.
- Team Leadership: Proven ability to lead teams in the smooth operation of warehouse activities, including dispatch, receiving, and distribution operations.
- Self-Starter: Highly organised and capable of working in fast-paced environments.
- Licenses and Qualifications: Up-to-date tickets and licenses, including White Card, Forklift, MR/HR truck. EWP, and other related staging and rigging qualifications would be highly regarded.
