Katie Louise Broadbent went to a private festival in Rochester on Australia Day to meet a local guy she knew. She was looking for love, in the nicest way, and instead found her own demise when a man drove over her tent. It appears he was intoxicated.
Katie worked at The Clock Tower Theatre and the Monash Theatre and previously at the Kingston Performing Arts Centre.
The performing arts community, and Katie’s friends are hosting a memorial at 3.30pm FRIDAY JANUARY 31 2014 at the Standard Hotel in Fitzroy. The funeral is in Adelaide on Tuesday. Katie comes from Adelaide. Everyone sends their deepest condolences to her family.
