AcousticDesign™ speakers from QSC offer system integrators a premium quality installed sound solution where performance, coverage, and aesthetics are paramount. Suited to a wide variety of foreground/background applications the current line-up of 8”, 10”, and 12” 2-way passive speakers has been supplemented by a 6” 2-way full range and a 12” sub-woofer.
Like the other AD speakers the 6” AD-S6T features the award winning QSC X-Mount™ ‘ball’ type bracket system for quick and secure deployed vertically and horizontally. Knurled surfaces on the X-Mount’s pivot points lock deployment angles and ensure that aiming stays fixed and doesn’t slip over time. Pan, tilt and yaw adjustments provide three plains for perfect positioning and once finalised the speaker is simply lifted onto the mount and clicks into place.
AD-S6T offers a wide 105° axisymmetric dispersion which QSC’s Directivity Matched Transition (DMT)™ ensures is consistent throughout the frequency range. A multi-tap 60-watt transformer with an 8Ω bypass completes the easy to install package.
The new subwoofer, AD-S112sw, shares the same slick, curved, rugged weather resistant (IP-54) ABS shell as the other AD-S speakers, with dimensions identical to the AD-S12. A long-throw 12-inch driver powers it to an output of 121dB. Deployment is with yoke mount (supplied) or M10 eyebolt rather than X-Mount.
Acoustic Coverage AC-C4T offers integrators a cost-effective, in-ceiling loudspeaker solution ideal for voice paging and light background music applications. It features a high-quality, 4-inch full-range transducer housed in a ported enclosure along with a low saturation transformer with multiple tap settings including an 8Ω bypass.
AD-S6T, AD-S112sw and C4T will retail for $547, $1,199 and $165 respectively. QSC is distributed in Australia by Technical Audio Group, 43-53 Bridge Road, STANMORE NSW 2048. Phone (02) 9519 0900. Email: info@tag.com.au www.tag.com.au
