Rode’s Colin Hill. Vale

It is with great sadness that I inform you that Colin passed away this morning at 6.30am with his wife Lesley by his side to comfort him. Colin fought hard over the last two years after being diagnosed with lung cancer, and even when I went see him on Tuesday he was in very good spirits.

I met Colin 34 years ago, and he was above all my friend, and of course a major part of RØDE for the last 22 years. I will always feel honoured to have known Colin and to have shared the hard times in the early days, but my memory will always be filled with the laughs and good times we shared, and my life is richer for having had him in it.

A funeral service will be held for Colin Hill as follows:
When:            Friday 23rd August at 1:30pm
Where:        Palmdale Lawn Cemetery & Memorial Park, Palmdale Road, Palmdale NSW 2258 (map)

Colin’s family have also asking guests to wear black and white, and no ties if possible.
